Try your hand at this relatively new and very exciting activity – big in the U.S. and New Zealand already but still relatively new to the U.K.  This is one for those with a taste for adrenalin and adventure: you’ll be kitted out with one of our Fluid Anvil river sledges, a wetsuit, helmet, buoyancy aid and some fins. Then the fun begins!  Negotiate fast moving water, small rapids and waterfalls in the company of a qualified guide. This is a fun packed activity for confident swimmers, 12 years old or above.

Please note that river sledging requires a certain depth of water to run, as we are lying in the water.  If there is not enough water on the day for river sledging then we will substitute the sledges for river tubes, which can be run in lower water conditions but are still awesome fun.

River Sledging

We had an awesome time water sledging. The leaders Dominic and Ryan were great. They got the right balance between safety and having a great time. I was really impressed. The experience itself was exhilarating and full on. Thanks a lot guys for a great morning.
