IYE Family SUP/ Canoe Brilliant sessions with Jan and Adam doing SUP and Canoeing. I went with my two children and they loved their time on the water. Excellent lessons that really boosted their confidence and great teachers. Gave my kids great confidence and would thoroughly reccomend.
Just brilliant During our stay we done archery, and axe throwing and hired a katakanu to explore loch tay. We all had a great time, staff were very friendly and knowledgeable- would highly recommend.
Three Years of High-Adrenaline Adventure in Scotland We have just returned from our third year with In Your Element (IYE), and once again, they exceeded every expectation. As a group of four men in our 60s looking for a genuine adrenaline fix, we need a team that understands how to balance adventure with safety and expertise. Over the years, IYE has helped us cross Scotland via the Great Glen Canoe Trail and navigate the rapids of the River Spey. Both involving the rigors of wild camping. Our most recent trip was perhaps the most diverse yet: two days of electric mountain biking combined with gorge swimming and river sledging, followed by two days canoeing the River Tay. The schedule suggested by Calum was a masterclass in custom programming; he used his expertise to tailor every activity to our specific needs. On the ground, our instructor Duncan provided world-class guidance and instruction that gave us total confidence in challenging environments. With first-class equipment and superb customer service, I can’t recommend IYE highly enough for anyone wanting to test their limits in the Scottish outdoors.
Gorge walking in Loch Tay We went on the gorge walk with Nathan and he was excellent ~ my kids loved the experience. The guide was perfectly pitched & really helped the kids feel confident in the water! Thank you
Amazing Gorge Walking experience Had an amazing time gorge walking near Loch Tay! Aaron our guide was amazing and so knowledgeable about the routes and the local surroundings. It was like gorge walking and outdoor survival tips/skills all rolled into one. We had a party of mixed ages and mixed abilities and they catered for us perfectly. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!
Gorge Walking, Loch Tay. That was absolutely amazing!! Thank you to Callum our guide and super expert for keeping us safe and putting up with our constant laughing and noise! We also had Bud another guide who backed us up and took pics and videos for us. Both you guys were fab, we had the best time and will be back soon! We were totally in our element 😊
Great time, wish we could have done more. Stayed at the Loch Tay Highland lodges, my 10 year old son and I did two sessions of the Axe throwing which was very enjoyable. We also took our first lesson in paddle boarding, which my son enjoyed so much, not sure if it was the boarding which he took to like a duck to water, or his 50 year old dad trying to get into a wesuit! Great team and very knowledgeable and friendly.
Discovery gorge walking Took my children on the discovery gorge walking to introduce them to this activity. My 7 year old was really apprehensive but soon was doing everything and excitedly telling it me how amazing and fun it was! Instructor was really knowledgeable and engaging - thank you for a great time, and sparking their curiosity
Great wee day out Booked one hour thirty minute paddle board introduction for myself and my wife. We didn’t know quite what to expect and I have to say it was great fun. Both in our 50’s and we walked away laughing. The instructor was excellent and up for a laugh. Great wee day out.
Loved the gorge walk We had a session of gorge walking with Richie and had a brilliant time. The session was just right for a 6 year old and we all had fun. We felt really safe but enjoyed the tricky bits climbing up the waterfalls.
Excellent We has so much fun renting a boat! All the staff were super friendly and Henry showed us how to use the boat and was very helpful. We really enjoyed our time and would 100% recommend if you are near the area! Thank you.
Great fun and well run. We went for a family archery session. We were a bit last minute but the instructor was super accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed the archery and the instructor was excellent, he kept us right and helped us hone our "skills"! The setting was stunning, down on the banks of the loch. Really enjoyed ourselves. Recommend a visit if you fancy a bit of archery.
Fun Archery Experience Took part in archery experience. Loads of different tasks and challenges as part of it which kept it fun. Instructor was really friendly and helpful in giving tips to improve. Would visit again.
