Whitewater Canoe Adventure Aviemore
Price per person from:
£75
A guided canoe journey for your group on the most exciting stretch of the awesome River Spey including lots of rapids on this full-on white-water canoeing experience. Some previous paddling experience recommended but not essential and you must be able to swim 25m.
The Cairngorms National Park has it all. Towering mountains, native forests, lochs and rivers. It also has the mighty River Spey flowing through it all the way to Spey Bay on the coast.
On this journey you start off in the heart of Speyside whisky country, and after a bit of coaching on the water, to familiarise yourselves with the canoes, it's off you go. It won't be long before you encounter the first of many rapids that day, with both Grade 1 and Grade 2 water to test your canoeing skills. Rapids such as 'The Washing Machine' are waiting for you!
Bring yourselves a packed lunch and you'll have time to enjoy it on the banks of the river with some hot drinks that we will provide, before arriving your end point for the day. This offers a very exciting day out for thrill-seekers.
You will need your own means of transport for this tour and may be required to help with shuttles between start and finish points.
