In Your Element is very excited to announce the opening of a new activity base in Fort William, the UK’s Outdoor Capital.Â
We have, for a long time, been very active in the area offering a variety of activity experiences for groups and providing canoe/ kayak hire services, but from our Inverness base. By opening a new base in Fort William we will be able to offer a much wider range of activities for visitors. We hope that by offering additional activity options in the area, we can help encourage visitors to stay longer.
Having a base in Fort William will also mean reduced travel time on the busy A82 travelling to and from Inverness. This will also help us reduce our carbon footprint.
Initially, we plan to offer tailor-made activities to larger groups staying in local accommodation. Our plan is then to launch a regular, scheduled programme of activities that will run during the main tourist season, aimed at smaller groups, families, and individual travellers looking for fun things to do. Ultimately, we hope to offer activities that include Archery, Highland Games, Gorge Walking, Canoeing, Sea Kayaking, Stand-up Paddle Boarding and Whitewater Sledging.
We would welcome enquiries from local accommodation providers that cater for larger groups if guests are looking for entertainment during their stay. Once happy with our scheduled activity programme, this will be available to book online via our website, and we will of course let you know more about this.
