Our Gorge Walking sessions are a way of introducing adventurers to the joys of gorge scrambling. This gorge walking session is suited more to family groups than the more committing Gorge Swimming sessions that we offer at other more extreme locations. You will scramble your way up a beautiful mountain stream wading, climbing, scrambling and ducking under waterfalls. This is a great activity for anyone who likes getting wet!
Sessions last around 2 hrs from the meeting time and are based at Loch Tay Highland Lodges, near Killin.
Participants must be 6 years old or above and be ‘water confident’. It is not a requirement that participants can swim.
Children under 14 years old must be accompanied by a participating adult who can assist them into a wetsuit and can help them on the trickier climbing sections in the river.
For individuals and small groups, scheduled sessions are available to book here online during the season. Private group bookings are also available and can be quoted on request at other times (subject to a minimum booking fee of £300). Call 0333 700 7004 or get in touch for more information or to book – group bookings cannot be booked online.
For something more adventurous we also offer gorge swimming at Brig o’ Turk near Callander.
