Marine Litter is one of the biggest challenges facing the environment, and with 80% of this litter coming from land the Upstream Battle Campaign looks to tackle it from #Source2Sea. This is an opportunity for you to support the national campaign and ultimately, demonstrate your commitment to your local community by taking practical action!
Visit Inverness Loch Ness are working with Keep Scotland Beautiful during their “Week of Action” to survey litter along the River Ness.
You should meet up at 10.00 AM on Wednesday, 24th January at the skate park car park near the Ness Islands. All litter picking equipment will be provided.
After the event you will have the option to head over to the Botanic Gardens for a coffee!
