Seasonal Multi-Activity Instructors Across Scotland

Multi-activity instructor positions are available at all In Your Element Locations: Aviemore, Inverness, Loch Tay, and Loch Lomond.

Pay scales will be:

Instructor
£25,282 – £26,730 pro rata
Lead Instructor
£26,520 – £27,602 pro rata
Senior Instructor 
£27,325 –  £30,000 pro rata

A range of qualifications are required for multi-activity instructor posts. Open canoeing and gorge walking are the two most popular activities, so proven experience in these areas is desirable.

We can be very flexible about the duration of summer contracts to suit your personal circumstances & would consider everything from 2 months (July & August) to 7 months.

Freelance Instructors

In Your Element is always looking for freelance instructors to complement the team of core instructors.  In Your Element has bases in Inverness, Aviemore, Loch Lomond and Loch Tay, covering bookings across Scotland.

In Your Element is particularly interested in instructors with experience and qualifications in the following:

  • Archery
  • Open Canoeing
  • Sea Kayaking
  • Experience in white-water activities, e.g. gorge walking, canyoning
  • Mountain bike TCL and MBL
