Activities

Experience rafting in a more relaxed way on a river rafting safari or family white-water rafting in the Great Glen. Our trips are normally run on the River Oich, which is fed from Loch Oich and meanders its way down the glen until it pours its waters into the head of Loch Ness.
This trip is a fantastic and fun adventure, which has something for everyone with beautiful Highland scenery and small rapids up to grade 2. Our Rafting Safari trip is a great way to experience the river without the adrenaline-fueled rapids of our whitewater rafting experience on the River Garry. So, if you are looking for a chilled-out, fun trip down a Highland river with gorgeous scenery, local wildlife and lots of fun, then this is for you!

White water Funyakking is a fun alternative to white water rafting, and is also an ideal introduction to white water kayaking. You will be in a very stable and forgiving inflatable white water kayak. You and your paddling partner will navigate the river under the expert guidance of an In Your Element professional river guide who will teach you the basic skills required to negotiate the rapids. White water kayaking is a more involved way of enjoying the river, as you will be a lot closer to the action and in control of your own destiny!

Whitewater rafting near Fort William and Inverness is primarily on the River Garry. The River Garry is a fantastic, fun, and adventurous river with great grade 3 and 4 rapids and plenty of guaranteed whitewater.  This means that during the summer season, our white water rafting in the Great Glen is the best, guaranteed whitewater rafting trip in Scotland, when all other rivers can be very low or dry, especially in the summer.
