The River Beauly is a bit of a hidden gem, within easy driving distance of Inverness.  It winds its way through lovely countryside with the end of this particular stretch of the river being a spectacular gorge.

On this trip, we guide you into the gorge amphitheatre to look for ospreys, otter, deer and lots of other local inhabitants.  With still waters and easy paddling amongst towering cliffs, this trip is suitable for novice paddlers and younger children who can sit still long enough to enjoy the experience.

Despite its remote feeling location, it’s not too far away from civilisation to reach from Inverness.
